Our Story

Turning Pain Into Purpose

Blossoms & Gems was started in 2021 by best friends Tiffany Woods and Deyona Jackson — friends since the third grade. After losing loved ones of their own, they built the shop they wished had been there for their families: one place that blends the beauty of nature with the dignity of remembrance, for celebrations and commemorations alike.

In 2024 they opened the doors of this shop on James Couzens Fwy — and they’ve been here for Detroit’s families ever since. Just like their sign says: we are here for you.
